cool thanks for that number, i looked on there website and i could get 500 newborn crickets for 20$ shipped to my house next day. i was just wondering how long could i keep these guys until they get to big for my baby veiled? would it even be worth getting so many if by the time im even half...
yea!!! he finally ate out of his cup! i actually downgraded it to a smaller one because the first one i had in their was too tall, i wont even have to worry about this once my new cage arrives. i ordered a small silver screen cage from LLLREPTILE, has anyone ever got anything from these guys...
well i have a plant in the tank that reaches the top so all they have to do is climb to the top of the plant and jump out of the screen top. i think i just might need to rearrange my tank setup so nothing is touching the top
as most of you already know i have a 3-4 week old veiled chameleon, and ive just been having the hardest time figuring out a way to feed him. i cant really let the crickets go in the tank because i currently have a temporary 10gal setup with a screen top with holes that are too big. any...
yea i made a few calls and found a good place that sold me a dozen 1/4 cricket for a little over a dollar. these guys were small enough to be pins though for sure:D
i just noticed that my 3 week old chameleons left eye is sometimes shut during the day but the other one is alert and healthy looking, ive also seen it try and rub his eyes on a branch, could it be that hes just stressed??
will 1/4 crickets for a 3-4 week veiled chameleon be ok? when i got the little guy i got some pinheads but i cant seem to find a store around here that sells them. every place ive called only carries 1/4 as the smallest
thanks for the advice. im just going to keep him in their for a week until my screen cage that i just ordered comes in. btw hes a baby, only 3-4 weeks old.
hey i have a 10 gallon aquarium that i want to use for my new baby veiled. but theres only one problem, this tank was once used as a medicine tank for my saltwater fish and a copper treatment was used in it. can i still use this for my chameleon?
i dont feel like a champ at all, ive had so many problems building my cage. i suggest just buying one, yea its expensive but it sure saves a lot of head ache. that is unless your a wood worker.
i cant seem to stop finding problems with this new chameleon. i now discovered that i was keeping the lamp to close to the exo-terra styrofoam background, and it literally burred it, almost looks like it melted some of it away. could that have released some toxic fumes into the tank? do i need...
crazy story, good thing he survived.
I actually have a wooden cage, the screen is just stapled in on the inside. i just wanted to run tape along the sides so no crickets got out and to cover up the staples as well, but thats not important. will the glue and silicone still work on a wooden cage?
