    Big enough cage

i think the idea with the suctions cups would work, hopefully your water is hard up their so when you spray the fake plants on the glass the water will dry with spots to dirty up the glass to prevent reflections (just an idea). You're going to need to upgrade to a bigger cage as well but 18 high...

    Big enough cage

if i was you i would do some research in the search area, i have found pretty much everything i needed through that feature on this site including cage recomendations for size, they also say that using glass is not recommended because of reflections. So if the cham see's itself everyday it will...

    Some Q's

Treatments For the bump on the lip, yes she cleaned it out and said if the swelling persists or if it has an absess then they will have to lance it off. She said to schedule a checkup in 7-10 days to determine the overall recovery and see what else is needed. The instructions are this for...

    Some Q's

i will post that list with meds, doses, etc. when i get home as i am currently at work. I am totally with you on that one Dave but since her appetite has dwindled quite a bit since the visit to the vet. it might be tough. I think she's afraid of me, cause to her the big monster shoved her in a...

    Some Q's

I have recently taken my female veiled to the vet. for a first time checkup and to get this bump checked out on her lip. To make a long story short she has two kinds of parasites which i figured she had some kind or parasite. The Vet. said Pinworm and Trichomonad were the culprits and she gave...

I know what the automatic thing everybody is going to think MBD. But my issue is this. I have observed my female sub-adult veiled shaking as of lateley but only when i mist her directly or when mist directly hits her. it's sort of a flinch and i thought maybe cause the water was a shock to her...

    Crickets dying?

I've heard you need to watch what you are cleaning the cages with. Crickets i hear are very sensitive to chemicals and you could wash their enclosure with dish soap and kill off the entire lot. I would rather not pass around bad information as i'm not too experienced. I'll let another member...

    First Batch of Eggs

you should have nothing on the bottom of the cage, paper towels if you need them but no substrate at all. Meaning no dirt sand soil or anything to act as a "ground" because it could be ingested and you chameleon could get impacted which is a no no.

    Question reguarding urate/stool

maybe i should clarify, nothing against you breeze, but basically what i'm asking is if their poop/urate is on a paper towel and you smelled it, without parasites would is smell at all like human urine? so i'm saying an all around healthy cam, would you smell any sort of urine smell from...

    Question reguarding urate/stool

So i had been removing the poo from the cage everytime i find it but i've noticed that it sort of smells. I've read a lot that it could be parasites but was wondering since i actually have never seperated the urate from the stool and was wondering if it could actually be the urate, i have not...

    Clarification needed

so here is the deal i have tried searching through several forums and nowhere do i really get a clear answer on this. so it's in reguards to potting and soil and such. I read that if you do not have organic soil it is okay to put river rock or rock on top of the soil so the cham can't get to it...
