Scrolling through pinterest, I found this. And fell in LOVE! I'm thinking about just searching resale shops to find the wardrobe... but after that, I'm at a loss.. No idea how to 'chameleon-ize' it. Thinking screens on the sides and top with a clear PVC front. Maybe a 'sunken' top so you don't...
I just feel bad because we've only had his current enclosure since we've had him which will be three weeks tomorrow. So he's just now getting settled and I'd hate to uproot him again.
But I'll talk with The Boyfriend and see what he thinks about it. Like I said, Leif is in a very specific spot...
So here's his most recent set up.. as of 15 minutes ago!
I just put up the plastic on two sides in an effort to keep the spray in the cage and to up humidity a bit and protect him from the vent that is parallel to the cage but on that side. And the hibiscus is new. There's also a small...
Currently, we just took the bottom out all together and set the cage on top of a framed screen we found at Home Depot and then bought a wire shelf unit to set it on. We put a container on the shelf under the cage and water gathers there. it works PERFECT. Again, I'll post pics when I get home :)...
My little guy is about 3 months old and he fits perfectly in his little enclosure. (i'm sorry, I'm at work and do not have pictures handy... I will post some when I get home!) I'm trying to be proactive and do some research for when he gets bigger. I'm looking at something along these...
Yay! Thank you! I feel like a super paranoid momma, but I just want to make sure I'm not effing anything up! :ROFLMAO: My boyfriend is the reptile expert and we just got Leif a week before my boyfriend left for a two-week work trip... so it's up to me to keep him alive!!
Basking temp around 82, room temp is about 70. he's in a full screen enclosure. I'm in KC Missouri, air conditioning- yes, but it's been really mild so it hasn't been on much. but when it is we make sure the vent in his room is semi closed so as to not blow on him directly. he is in front of a...
So my little guy (3 mo, male, veiled) is just finishing up his first shed since he's been with us. He was very dark this morning and just huffy. I fed him, made sure his dripper and fogger were full, misted down his cage, lights on and left for the day. Before his shed he still wasn't SUPER...
I'm brand new to this world, but we just got our little Leif a few days ago with the pretty standard starter kit cage with the pvc like bottom. We are adding a dripper/mister to his cage shortly and we were concerned with the drainage.
What are the thoughts of adding a pretty sturdy meshing...
Chameleon Info:

Hey y'all, my name's Lizz,
I am SOO brand new to the world of reptiles! My boyfriend is pretty well versed but we just got a little veil(ed?), his name is Leif, from a local petstore. We are unsure of his age, so if anyone has a guess-timation on that we'd be appreciative. We've only had him...
