Thanks for ur thread. Been reading up all the other threads here too. Expecting my eggs which I ordered from the 'silkworm shop'. Should the pre-made chow be kept in refrigerator or room temp?

Do you just lay the netting on top of the worms?

I'm not sure if i bought the 4 or 5. It came with everything needed except for the reservoir bucket.

I bought the starter but no extra accessories. It works great for my 1 cham enclosure.

So, im thinking of giving it a try on hatching silkworms. Reading up on this, it sounds pretty easy. Thoughts anyone?

I will chime in here too. I think I listed my babies in another thread. But, here goes... 1 panther cham 1 turtle 1 beardy 2 guinnea pigs 2 cats. (1 being special needs- blind and deaf) 2 dogs 1 pineapple conure 4 parakeets 4 cockateils 2 lovebirds (All birds have been hand tamed) 2 fishtanks...

As a newbie cham mom, I liked the direct info from those here on the forum. But, I also liked being directed to other site info too. I know there's a lot of misinformation out there and it was good to know which info sites have accurate info.

I got my cham from a breeder from The reptile expo. He is out in Sacramento. I could look up his info if u want

Mine leaked at first. I just had to tighten it up a bit.

Looks like it. Double check that the 2 hoses are on the right side of the pump. Its labeled with which side goes to the misthead and which side goes to the reservoir

Switch the 2 hoses. The pump needs to b under the reservoir

1 more thing, there's a rubber cap on the nose of the mister. Remove it b4 u test run it otherwise, it will shoot off the nozzle

Oh, and its a little late, but the bulkhead leading from the reservoir is better right at the bottom bc anything below it doesn't get used

U will want the pump lower than the reservoir. It looks to me like the hoses (the 1 to the reservoir and the 1 to the mist heads,) are switched bc of the length.

Follow directions of the manual. But if u still confused, there's video instructions too

Think about the responsibilities... chams are pretty expensive to do right. ie enclosure, husbandry setup etc... sounds like funds might b limited. Just saying...
