Hello! My four month old panth chameleon is growing like a weed! She sheds her skin regularly every two weeks and has almost tripled in size.
I want to provide her with a more consistent form of water other than the hand misting I give her 2-3 times a day. I know there is the MistKing and...
Hello! Ashley here with another random question. So Paisley, my 4 mo old panther, loves her crickets. She is growing so fast and so well (she just shed her skin today, which is the second time since I got her 3 weeks ago!).
I feed her 8-10 medium crickets in the morning right when we get up...
Hi! So my sweet Arya(or Paisley, I haven't decide yet) is approximately 4 months old, and is a panther cham. She's been eating pretty consistently, I'll give her 10-15 small crickets dusted in calcium and Reptivite in the mornings, and I will occasionally give her a super worm (also dusted)...
She's okay, I think! She hasn't done the gagging thing, not that I've seen anyways. Her color seems normal. She's been pretty low in her enclosure lately, but that isn't anything to worry about, right?
My female panther cham is approximately 4 mo old, and she is in a 16x16x30 screen enclosure. When should I upgrade to a larger size and how large should I go? I know that going to large isn't necessarily the best thing.
No mouth opening, and she puffs up any time I bring my phone out. Idk why. Usually she won't puff up her throats unless I'm taking pictures of her.
And she only shivers when she does the yawning/gagging thing.
I do have a vet, yes.
I am a new Cham owner, but I've had my girl for about two weeks. Female panther chameleon, approximately 3-4 months in age, in a 16x16x30 screen enclosure with a golden pothos plant. I feed her 8-10 crickets every daily, dusted in calcium w/o D3 and Reptivite.
Today she is acting super strange...
I own a female panther chameleon. I think she is about four months old, but I am not positive since I don't have a hatch date and PetCo claims they have no records. She's been looking a bit bloated. Could she be preparing eggs? How will I know when she is?
I have a 3 mo old female panther chameleon. Today while I was at work a storm took down the electricity in my place and threw off the light timer or something? I don't know exactly. But when I got home everything was off (heat and UVB lights). I got them started up again.
Is she going to be...
Despite the fact that this sweet girl has been with me for almost two weeks(and I worked with her for weeks before I owned her), I have yet to name her!! Any suggestions?
Okay! So, I am new to being cham-ommy and although I've bought books(like legit paperback old school books), found many a google page, and this site as well, I'm still extremely confused and torn on feeding. I have a 3 mo old female panther chameleon.
I thought meal worms were an okay food...
Learning moment. Y'all are right. She wasn't even eating them. They were getting out. I just got home from work and there were 14 worms across the bottom of the terrarium and climbing up the screen walls and everything.
Total beginner moment, I guess. I feel stupid, but at least I have you guys...
@jamest0o0 Should I limit how many I give her in a day? I give her 10 crickets in the morning(which she rarely ever finishes by bedtime, and I take them out at the end of the day). And with the super worms, I'll start her out with six or seven, and whenever I notice that it is empty I'll put...
Thanks to you wonderful individuals, I learned that the high fat content in meal worms wasn't the best thing for my 3 mo old panther. So I switched her over to small supers.
I also heard that super worms could eat your Cham from the inside out if you don't smash/cut off their heads. But she...
No other conditions were changed; no fans or humidifiers. The enclosure is 100% screen, with only one side against a wall, but it is about 3 inches from it. I soaked the plant tonight, so I'm hoping the humidity will be more stable tomorrow?
I just added a large Golden Pathos plant to my terrium for my 3 month old panther. I was under the impression it would help keep humidity levels up, but ever since I got it, the humidity is lower than usual.
I water the plant regularly, and the soil is moist. And I mist the enclosure 3 times a...
