Clear silicone works very well too as an adhesive . I don’t know about getting it out of the screen. But I know for a fact, you can stick pieces to walls and such. Once it’s completely cured, it’ll hold very strongly, but still able to remove and peel the silicone off. .
You’re definitely gonna wanna watch what kind of rag you use to clean it. I make sure to use something very soft I’ve bought special cloths. To make sure I don’t scratch it . I didn’t make that mistake with one of the cages that I handbuilt and use plexi for the doors and I put a scratch in it...
Yes, I open up two side doors every morning , sometimes I only close the doors halfway sometimes I close them all the way I can regulate how much fog stays inside the cage with the doors
Well, it’s not easy to keep it clean . I have very hard water I used distilled white vinegar, and then I clean it with plexi clean but if you don’t stay on top of it, you will have a problem . But I have the same issue with Glass so
You can order the Tamura designs anyway you want if you want to screen door in front instead of an acrylic he’ll do that for you. And no stagnant air but I blow my air in instead of drawing it out the top.
I’ve switched all my plant lights to jungle Dawn , I found them at Petsmart for about $10 less than you can order them online they’re about 69 bucks . I would highly recommend them.
Regardless, if the PC fans are needed or not I would be using them they help dry out the enclosure. I think PC fans are necessary and most hybrid enclosures . They create air movement. It looks like you want one . I don’t blame you For wanting the test. But I can honestly say. With great...
Maybe Dale @Tamura Designs
will take you up on this he’s actually building me two as we speak maybe before he wraps it up, he can throw a test on it . 😊👍
Yeah, I’m not gonna put smoke in my habitat with my chameleon . Maybe later this spring when I can put her outside for the day. I’ll try to remember this.
I’ll see what I can do I don’t need your pen I will use fog . And I’ll do it for free . Anything to help the community 😊 But basically I already know what it does. Depending on whether the fans draw in or out . With the doors completely shut. The air will force down in. And below back out the...
I knew nothing about importers back then , 90% of what I got was in a pet shop! We would drive around the San Fernando Valley Los Angeles area, and whenever we would find them, we would purchase them not really knowing a lot about their condition , or even really knowing how to raise them .I...
Yep back in the 80s all we got was Wild caught , every single one would have fecal’s done . Treated most of them. Sadly, the majority of them passed. Longevity of keeping back then was six months to a year. so glad our husbandry has come such a long way.
I’m currently building a base for my largest enclosure new fogger and will be putting 2 2x2x4 on either side . all three cages will run off of the main system , and yes, I build the foggers too ..
Just order it with the crosscut doors their side doors that are screened. It’s a double door one is acrylic. One is screen. And the adding PC fans will eliminate any issues. I have one that’s been going for two years works great.
Well, I have several of them and never had reflection issue , if he’s not firing up, I don’t think that’s the problem . I would say he’s not used to his new enclosure and you’re gonna have to give him some time to adjust.
