Dark chameleon and white spots on back

I use a cat bag. I added branches for climbing. I buckle him in the seat belt for a safe ride. I also use a neighborhood vet (less costly) for wellness checks and annual fecal exams. He actually referred me to Summer Tree for blood work and xrays. I use Summer Tree when things are out of...

Help me solve my dripper problem, please.

FYI- Darwin is gonna screen climb until her weight prevents her from doing so. It's a Cham thing! In human language, its called the terrible 2's. The most important thing is making sure the heat lamp is raised and using a low wattage incandence appliance bulb. Her basking temp might not be...

Help me solve my dripper problem, please.

I use the little dripper without the tube. It sits on top of the cage. the water slowly drips out of the spigot onto the top of the mesh cage onto a leaf. My Cham drinks from the leaf. You could ditch the tube.

Here is a weird question, can a chameleon go receptive when already diagnosed with follicular stasis

I don't know this for sure. Its my total assumption. Whatever hormones, that are specific to her being female/receptive are still being produced at a reduced amount. This causing behavioral responses.

Help Needed: Fumigation and Chameleon Safety Measures

I would take the plants outside and spray/wash them with water mixed with Dawn dish detergent. Rinse well. I would spray the enclosure with plain water before I returned the chameleon. The ultimate clean would be to take the entire enclosure outside and spray everything with water and Dawn...

How to control Humidity for Veiled Chameleon

Honing in the humidity is trial and error. Adjusting spraying/fogging times so that the enclosure is completely dry by mid-morning might help. You could try shorter misting sessions or hand misting. I have automatic misters but for my Veild I found hand misting works best to control humidity...

Am I really not ready for a panther chameleon?

Hello and welcome to Chameleon Forums. I'm @ChamelaChameleon, I also belong to the ramblers. I'm willing to testify, in Chameleon court, that being open to the advice here will help give your Cham a great life. I adopted a Veiled Chameleon with out any knowledge. After 1 week, I knew I was...

    Sperm plug

K So maybe my Pic is not a sperm plug. It is the hemipenis casting that sheds in the same manner as the outer skin.

    Sperm plug

Bolt is potty trained. 🤣 He has been dropping sperm plugs since he was 5 months old. He has dropped a ton. He has a favorite branch where he wipes his plugs and a designated poop spot. He poops in the same spot.
