Food Dilemma, won’t eat roaches and silkworms won’t be here until midweek

aaaaa I’m currently in Colorado so unfortunately not close enough but thank you for the offer! Unfortunately most of the silkworms I had left died this morning, with only two medium/large silkies left… I’m heading to the pet store to see the options they have. Her last meal was Friday where she...

Food Dilemma, won’t eat roaches and silkworms won’t be here until midweek

Hey guys, I have an issue, my silkworms I ordered won’t arrived until after I’ve moved and I won’t get them until later this week. I have two surviving silks from the last batch and that’s all Nachito wants to eat right now, as she’s not interest in roaches (they all died too rip) I’ve searched...

    The Grapening of 2024

It really to bad, but not all a loss. It’s probably a good thing to do a deep clean out their holder and just get more when I move into my dorm. And besides Nachito hasn’t been interest in eating them recently anyway…. RIP roaches 🪦 😞

Rip my Dubia and Discord roaches, I’m so sorry, your new food was all ready for you today…. I’m not...

Oh poor baby! Thank you so much for rescuing her! She looks like she has a lot going on and I would suggest getting a vet for her right away, I suspect she had mouth rot, MBD, and her tongue could be missing. Here’s our vet list...

    Nachito ongoing photo thread :D

We are just hanging out today! Nachito is showing a few signs of hopefully having eggs, one being pooping little poops a lot more often and having divided attention when it comes to food! I won’t lie I’m super nervous and I hope she doesn’t retain the follicles again 😖 Also does anyone have any...

I would recommend keeping the lay box in 24/7. It can really depend on how long they can last with how strong they are. I would just recommend trying to find an experienced reptile vet as soon as possible. The list I posted earlier has reptile vets that can help

not looking good, needing any advice

Vets can preform a surgery to remove the eggs and spay her, but it can be very risky and expensive, up to a few thousand dollars. And unfortunately, if they don’t get removed then it’s usually fatal. As of right now, does she have a lay bin in her cage?

not looking good, needing any advice

Oh I lm so sorry this is happening and I would say she is chock full of eggs, and declining with her eyes closed during the day. I’ve attached a vet list and would recommend getting to a vet asap as it’s very very likely she is egg bound...
