Hey everyone! Good news (I think)! I believe it was a false alarm, so sorry for freaking out for a second there 😅
The tail discoloration has completely gone away and seems to be fully functioning today. My best guess for what was going on was some weird really pale shedding, I haven’t...
Not to contradict this but do these look like itty bitty spurs 🤔
I feeeeel like I can see some small one smushed against the leg with how their standing. I think I’m putting my wager on male :)
Nachito had something like that when she had her blood drawn, but it’s been a few months since a vet visit
Here’s what it looked like back then and it’s been completely normal for the last few months until today
Thank you, I wish there was an answer for me right away but I guess I have more...

I will also note that I haven’t seen her a lot for the past few days except when she was asleep at night so I'm not sure of its functionality, and during the last two night she did not have her tail curled, only resting over some branches.
I really thought we were on the mend 😞, but I'm unfortunately back with another possible problem. When taking Nachito out to weigh her, I noticed that the end of her tail was very very pale, with a few black spots here and there. I have no idea what's wrong, I don't think she could have gotten...
I was wondering, when Bella had loss in appetite how long after doesn’t she lay? Today we still have little interest in food, and I know Nachito saw her food because she got up close and personal with the roach then just left it, and that is unusual for her, and went back to her basking.
So Nachito is doing well, still a decent amount of movement around the top of her enclosure but not as much as before. I recently got some hornworms and they are on the larger side but still good enough for her to handle, but I’ve noticed she’s only ate the one I added to her food Wednesday and...
Hello and welcome! Chameleons shouldn’t be fed fruits or veggies as they are not built to digest them. Bugs only, but you can feed fruits and veggies to the bugs your feed your chameleon
I think so at-least she was still moving quite a bit yesterday. My move in dates are just under a month away around August 12th, luckily it’s only a hour away from my house but still….
Me too! But who knows, this could just be another false alarm. Luckily I think we fixed the majority of her calcium problem!
I think my major concern now is if she really is doing this again, then laying would line up directly with my move in dates for college 😰
Awww he’s so handsome!!! I have sundews/carnivorous plants next to my girls cage and they work decently with lowering my gnat population
Besides that idk how to get rid of them :).
I’m pretty much 100% sure Nachito was receptive. So now I’m wondering, because she went through this maybe the hormone will push the follicles that she had into calcification stage and maybe, just maybe she will lay 😣😣😣
can anyone remind me again how long it is between supposed receptive period...
