You know Dr. Bruce sees a lot of animals. Just brought him one of my guinea pigs (ringworm, womp) and I know he sees geese and chickens too. Roaches might be a new one for him lol!
Seems like it might be a prolapse - based on this roach forum post:

(Things I never thought I'd Google...)
My Veiled has completely stripped my nepenthes (pitcher plant) and chomps on pothos quite a bit. I keep hoping the pitcher plant will come back one day. 🤞
Mine gets that way too! It's still important to do regular checks and stay vigilant. Yoda's slump this year was also a liver infection on top of the winter blues! Wouldn't have caught it it I didn't do annual blood work.
Sorry your little one has a URI, hopefully he'll respond to the treatment and start eating more.
@Beman @MissSkittles what do you think about the fogging? I recall one of you saying pneumonia bacteria is very opportunistic with fogging especially if the temps aren't low enough when you do it.
Got great news today. Yoda's blood work is much better. Still indicates some inflammation so Dr. Bruce is having me continue on with the milk thistle supplement. We'll do a recheck in three months.
Interestingly his weight went up when he was in the height of his infection and it's back down...
