Keep in mind really good grow lights, only output the spectrum that doesnt reflect off of leaves. AKA your leaves would look black/purple, not "green" since green is not absorbed.

Another idea is small fans(some of use use small pc fans that are almost silent ) just to keep mildew down. If you cant lower the humidity, at least you can keep mold growth down.

can you do a ring of coconut or bees wax or petroleum jelly? I use that to keeps bugs "in" the bins.

They will just curl up and turn into beetles. They are not going to seek out the cham... Happens all the time here. Worst case they get into the cork bark or other big stick, and you can hear them slowly chewing all night :P

I never got any mold growth, even with poop. However LOWD does the loose crickets love to breed in the stuff...
