Haven’t used this however I know leap habitats has a misting system for around the same price I’d assume it works pretty well as the brand is overall well trusted and they have their carpet chameleon/and I believe a bifidus breeding project I’ll put a link below if you want to check it out...
You do you man but wanting an egg proves nothing but lack of knowledge it seems like there’s a lot you could be educated on & seem set on getting a parsons & not taking anyone’s advice so Good luck getting one 😭hope your successful
I’m not trying to be rude here but I think you need to do a LOT more research and maybe reconsider getting a parsons. Like we said above maybe start again with a panther or veiled and after a year or two of successfully raising that cham then consider getting a parsons as if you struggle even a...
What are the current temps not sure what you’re temps are but parsons are more of a cool weather chameleon you also have to take into consideration of how your going to achieve hydration as parsons need mass amounts of hydration.
Not in a mean way but you also have to remember they live longer under the perfect conditions which are somewhat hard to achieve I’d definitely consider jumping back into chameleons with a parsons it’s also a little bit on the pricey side if your going to do it right atleast 10k+ including the...
your enclosures look awesome only thing I’d consider is maybe moving some of the plants down as they’re going to grow in over time so atleast that way the whole enclosure is fully planted and your not constantly trimming back the plants besides that they look amazing
My honest advice is don’t buy an egg whatsoever in a sense your kind of setting yourself up for failure especially if you’ve never owned a cham before. I recommend starting off with a well started CB panther that way you can get use to caring for a chameleon. Parsons are absolute amazing...
This may sound stupid but just don’t let them escape. Dubai’s can’t climb smooth surfaces so as long as your bin is a smooth smurface the chances of one escaping is very little. Then when your feeding them off just put them in a feeder run cup I’ve yet to see any Dubai’s inside my house over the...
Easiest way to do this instead of going through multiple cages is to just start out with a large cage your chameleon will thank you. On top of that you’ll get a lot more enjoyment as they can be a little bit more active and not super stationary
My biggest recommendation is starting your own Dubai colony and then you can use crickets, bsfl, silkworms as occasional feeders. I’d recommend getting atleast 50 adult Dubai’s and keeping the temps in the upper 80s with moderate humidity and they’ll be producing in no time a lot cheaper then...
From the pics it looks as if that cage is a bit on the smaller side I’d recommend getting at least an 18x18x36 however if you have the room a 2x2x4 wether it’s a full screen cage with corrugated plastic on the sides or if you want to go on a little pricier side a hybrid cage made for chameleons...
May be dead however normally you’ll see them lose their colors and go black if he wasn’t dead was definitely extremely close to it , also if his body was completely stiff that kinda confirms his death he may not be black or dark colored due to the amount of time that passed after he may have...
Ok so I thought I had an understanding of gens but after a discussion with someone I’m slightly confused now and would appreciate the communities take on this. So from what I know f1 would be a wc x wc and then f2 would be a f1 x a f1, and captive hatch would be a wc female that came in with...
