Thanks for an interesting article.
My previous knowledge was that the family Chamaeleonidae was they had minimal hearing. However now the family has got developed ear parts with possible significance for hearing sound. That is hearing sound more than I expected.

Healthy egg case look similar to a pea pod or Mantis egg case. Theeggs should not be spread out the way your eggs are in the picture.
If you want help about the Schistocerca nitens send me a PM.

Those are not healthy egg cases. Healthy egg cases do not fall apart the way the ones are in the pictures.
You can make an attempt to breed those egg cases though.

This older article talks some about the return of California Condors to the Pacific Northwest. That is specifically to the Yurok Tribe and Nez Perce Tribal lands. The Nez Perce Tribal reintroduction site is being planned to become a release site inland in about 5-7 years. That looks to be...
That would be epic keeping Trioceros pfefferi again. However Trioceros pfefferi is an IUCN Red List Endangered species. That means a CITES quota for the species Trioceros pfefferi is not probable until the IUCN Red List listing changes to a less threatened listing.
