I would not feed them out to my reptiles. There are plenty of other great large species of grasshopper (genus Schistocerca) why gamble the issue. However if you are going to or have to feed them out I would recommend thoroughly researching this idea. This is a subject I would keenly read...
I would not feed out lubbers. That genus of grasshoppers species is well known for being toxic. You could breed them as hobby specimens though.

I would feed off the unwanted Schistocerca americana rather than let them loose in the wild. The Schistocerca americana maybe native to your local area. However locust are considered agricultural and garden problem pest. However if you collected the brood stock locally I recommend release the...
I think that grasshopper behavior can mean multiple behaviors ranging from releasing pheromones to breed, shedding to a new instar or just pooping.

Nice! A video about a giant reptile. The closest species that the Chameleon Forums has to Godzilla is Calumma parsonii parsonii, Trioceros melleri and Furcifer oustaleti.

All three species listed by CITES Trioceros montium, Trioceros quadricornis, and Trioceros feae are all IUCN Red listed as non endangered species. Trioceros quadricornis is listed as Vulnerable, Trioceros montium is listed as Near Threatened, and Trioceros feae is listed as Near Threatened...
I was reading about this development too. Trioceros quadricornis and Trioceros montium now have zero quotas and the suspension of trade is no longer in place. There is a ways before they become available and move from a CITES zero quotas to a CITES quota with exports again.

Calumma globifer is a great Calumma species. Thanks for showing pictures of your pair.
However Calumma globifer is an IUCN Red List Endangered species. This species most probably should not be exported till conservation improves for the species in Madagascar.
