Jann, most chameleons will not drink from a glass of water on their free-range tables...

If the chameleon is in good health, some parasites should not be an issue. The wild lizards will most likely have some parasite load. You could do a fecal to be careful, but some medications can be tough on the animal. Best not to let that happen too often, but likely will not be an issue.

Mine is much older, probably almost 10 years??? I hope they all come with the metal one now. Hopefully Marty will get back to you quickly.

Mine came with plastic, but I ordered a metal one. Always had issues with leaks until I switched.

Many think of citrus when they think of Florida, but that is not our main product. That would actually be nursery/greenhouse plants, tomatoes, citrus (all kinds), cane sugar and cattle. The first time I drove through Florida I was shocked to find so much cattle.
