Is anyone breeding quads/graciliors, montium, Kenyan line Jackson’s or any other trioceros these days?

I also had to send my guys elsewhere last year. I just picked up a pair of F. Willsii. Super cool chams. Very small, and very beautiful Probably need some recommendations from a Bug Lord on tiny roaches to propagate for them 🙂

Is anyone breeding quads/graciliors, montium, Kenyan line Jackson’s or any other trioceros these days?

Good to hear from you! I’d bet you can find Kenyan Xanths. Seems like the montiums are mostly gone and the quads are on their way out, but hopefully you can find quads (let me know if you do 🙂) I just picked up a pair of F. willsii. They are tiny and awesome. I suspect @javadi could guide...

DNA Reveals Eleven Different Species of Chameleons...Pardalis...

This is a great article! I hope it leads to more locale (species?) line breeding and less color line breeding Just my opinion 😊

Can you keep a chameleon in an RV?

I’m so sorry things have been rough for you. Stay on your feet and keep fighting. This is a tough chapter in your life, but there’s always small bits of happiness if you take the time to look, sometimes they’re just hard to see and enjoy Hang in there

I guess I disagree with this. I think hydration can be accomplished adequately with just misting and it’s been done very successfully that way However there is data that suggest the addition of fogging promotes active hydration at night while the Cham is sleeping, and it more closely simulates...

Gravid cham sleeping during the day, stopped digging holes

Just to add another possible solution to try. This podcast from the chameleon academy talks about an alternative approach to lay bins that provides several different options for the Cham. I have no real life experience to add to it, but I thought it was really insightful...

Yes. They are wild caught, so it’s definitely possible. I will be leaning on @javadi and @Mendez a lot if that happens 😂

For automatic misting I’ve used Mist kings which are awesome and the best I’ve used. Climist is also supposed to be very good, but I don’t have any experience with them. I’ve also used the zoomed reptirain. It’s not even close to the performance, ease of use, or quality of the mist king, but...
