    MEalworms

Understood. 🙂 I’d look into ordering online. I don’t really buy any bugs locally And you don’t have to avoid the mealworms. Just don’t give them every day, but again, I wouldn’t give anything every day

    MEalworms

I don’t think they’re worst thing ever, but you should vary the diet as much as possible https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/the-evils-of-mealworms.180182/

    Refusing crickets and dubia roaches

Try giving her something that flies. Black soldier flies, blue or green bottle flies, houseflies, etc I can almost guarantee she’ll go for those, but the biggest thing for me was giving something different at every feeding. If it’s always different, they don’t seem to get hooked on one thing

Please share your Triceros Hoehnelii/ Helmeted Cham setups

Here’s what my guys were in T5 12% UVB with basking areas around 5-6 UVI. 40w incandescent bulbs run on herpstat dimming thermostats Arcadia LED plant lights I wasn’t using a mister. I had a dripper running on a reef tank dosing pump a few times per day for a minute or two. Fogging at...

Dimming Thermostat and why I love it!

I love the herpstat thermostats! I have two herpstat2’s and a 4 I really think all heat sources should be on a digital dimming thermostat (I know that’s tough for all you guys with tons of Chams). Just as @Beman said, your daily temps will fluctuate a lot, and your dimmer will compensate for...

Hopefully they’ll find a good home. I was close to a malthe pair this year as well.

    Biden's bulb ban

I’m not surprised it’s hard to find. It’s probably buried in a 2000 page document like the Lacey act was Our government working around us instead of with us I suppose. And that’s a non-partisan description of the lot of them.

Parasite burden in a short-lived chameleon, Furcifer labordi...

What do you think it is about their environment that leads them to take this short lived, fast reproduction strategy for species survival?

I cheated and looked on FB 😂 I would have only guessed one of them 🤷‍♂️

    Biden's bulb ban

It would be a problem if halogen and incandescents are totally banned. There the only reliable source of infrared-A, which creates superior deep tissue heating compared to ceramic heaters (almost entirely IR-C) and deep heat projectors (some IR-B and C, but little IR-A)

@javadi may not claim to be an expert, but as far as everyone else can tell, he definitely is 😂 Great timely post. I have a couple of new friends coming from Chameleon cans early next week. 😁
