Wow, thank you for sharing your experiences! I will be back on Maui in January and will keep an eye out, Iao had some of our favorite hiking so now it will be doubly enjoyable!
Let me know how it goes,I really want to find an Ambanja! I hear there a several populations around the south Tampa Sarasota area but that's as specific as I got. Would love to join you myself one of these days.
I notice my older boy Gilgamesh (pictured) shows super bright colors when the other male is in view. He gets the same brightness for the ladies and does a head Bob too
Thanks! I got a male and worked out a deal for his sister, did the same with the second breeder and turned my desire to get 2 into having 4 now lol. I ended up getting a slightly better deal that way and figured I could trade one or two for ambanjas
To @Brodybreaux25 's point, the cages ship in flat boxes and including a pan would change that. It would be great to see them sold separately with the option to ship together
There are two different types of getting fired up, when I reach into the cage to handle the chams, they go DARK and stripes become black. And then there is the other version where they have the same posture but show more vivid bright colors
I just got mine in the mail about a month ago! One set came from FL and the other from AZ. Just make sure they are sent to a hub instead of a local fed ex store or you will have fun trying to save your cham from the back of a hot or cold delivery truck and unfortunately may have to wait another...
