Update and some more useful information:
When coza was sick her tongue wasn't working properly. Not only could she not extend it but it had lost it's "stickiness." Vet said that was a weird side effect of sick chams, that she has seen that often. It's been almost two months and just in the...
I'll keep checking the classified between now and the new year. Ive been searching the reputable breeders and noone seems to have upcoming nosy be's,. Thanks!
Is anybody that I know on here breeding Nosy Be? I'm looking to get a 5-6 month old nosy be around March / April of next year. Does this timeline line up with anybody's recent hatchlings?
The enclosure is too small. You'll want a 2 foot by 2 foot by 4 foot enclosure. A hybrid of glass and screen is fine as long as you're getting airflow.
For lighting you will want a linear T5HO fixture with a 5.0 reptisun bulb or a 6% arcadia bulb.
This is the fixture I use...
Try not to feel bad. Your here and you'll learn new things and make adjustments and help give her a good life.

And read through everything and start from the beginning. There are many...
Make sure you don't swing the other way with supplements. You should use plain phosphorous free calcium for every feeding except twice a month when you alternate vitamins and calcium with D3. The cage is very wide and without playing around with it myself I can't tell you how to add more...
If you use something to seal you would let it dry completely to let the VOCs "burn" off. Search the forums plenty of people have done it. You'll want to seal the wood bc otherwise the humidity / misting / water will effect the unsealed wood.
Can you adjust the lights / supplement stuff tomorrow?
With regard to the enclosure you have built--it looks like you have lights hanging on the inside? I would advise against this as the chameleon can screen climb and burn themselves. How do you plan to maintain water / humidity in an enclosed that large in Texas? It looks like it's right in carpet...
I agree with kinyonga. And I do understand the cage is big. From the looks of it you'll need to add more branches anyways. You want many many pathways in an enclosure. I'm not trying to argue with you about the cage size. I'd like to provide feedback that will help have a healthy chameleon. The...
Many people think this but it's just not the case. You can start a small chameleon in it's "adult" cage. It's fine that the enclosure is not ready but the fact is she would be very comfortable there. Right away you need to figure out a way to make a linear uvb bulb work on your enclosure. You...
