The supplements are absolutely necessary as is the linear uvb. From your post it sounds like you've gotten a routine to your chameleon sleeping during the day but that's a pretty bad sign they should be asleep during the day. The enclosure is also far to small. Needs to be 24 inches by 24 inches...
What came out of the blister? Was it clear or was it pus / more white or opaque?
Still make a vet appointment. Even more so now since it's essentially an open wound.
Did it ever look dark like a burn? I'm not sure that looks like a burn but it does look like an infection of some kind. It honestly looks like a human blister.
To get started with a chameleon I recommend reading /following all the modules here:

Yeah coza will still only eat crickets, silkworms and hornworms. I cannot for the life of me get her to eat roaches or BSFL. She will eat the flies tho.
I'm glad you could see her! You missed our journey when she got a liver infection and was in a hospital bin for three weeks but she came out stronger than ever!
Let her rest and give her lots of water and a big meal tomorrow. You can toss the eggs. I gave my first clutch to an artist who or preserved them and used them in terrarium art.
Since it's midnight where I am now it's officially my little coconuts Gotchya Day! Two years ago today she came to my doorstep from @Tony_S . Couldn't love this little one more. Sadly I'm away from home for this day but Ive I told my friend to give her a nice fat silkworm on this non feeding day...
