So are you arguing that I don’t have to sweat to feel the effects of a fan or that the chameleon has to have beads of water on it to feel the effects of a fan?
I have a fan pointed at my hybrid enclosure, which keeps the light fixtures from radiating heat down into the enclosure. It...
I would definitely get that basking lamp on a timer. Especially right now how the days are starting to get hotter. Mine is currently only on for 3 hours.
The fan should help keep the humidity down if you are mid day misting. But keep an eye on the humidity.
Not sure how everyone thinks a fan...
When you transfer him are you using a stick or your hand? Are you being impatient with his movement? Are you wearing bright clothes? Do you have painted nails on your hands? Do you wear a watch?
I still think it’s husbandry related.
Ok couple things…
Why are you having to mist mid day? Is that front door screen dropping the humidity too much? If so it’s dropping even more at night.
What are the day time temps? There should be a significant difference in temps from night and day.
His enclosure location. Mine likes his...
Not sure if I didn’t read it but how long has he been “lacking color”?
They do go through a winter funk…
I’d try getting him some all natural sunshine.
I’ve had my enclosure setup for a little bit over a year now and I’ve noticed a reduced amount of orange powder isopods.
I can’t say for sure but I feel like after I introduced them to the repashy morning wood they died off.😩
I feel like katchys are like band aids.
I have mine near my free range setup that has a humidifier going. And no issues. But I wouldn’t put it under the mister.
Get more isopods n springtails. They will eat the fungus that the gnats are living off.

Tried searching google and on here couldnt find anything.
Any key words or topic I should search? I’m always up to read a bad review.lol 🤓
I haven’t had a bad experience with that company or their products.🤷🏻♂️
I’d try upgrading your substrate so there won’t be excess water build up. I’ve had my bioactive enclosure running for 10 months and haven’t had to take any water out of the drainage layer.
As for the bacteria build up buy some more springtails.
1. I don’t see why not.
2. I’ve seen mine eat an isopod once….and never again after that. Lol
3.I used “Terra firma” from the biodude.
4. I assume your talking about having the drainage layer which most use leca which are lil clay balls. I’ve bought some off Amazon and from the local hydroponics...
