    Everything n every gadget will need to be clean soon or later...its like a brand new car with the brand new oil...once its used...it will needs maintenance soon or later....I agree with @JoshD49 on the RO water which I use them on my discus tank also..very efficient for sure.

    Its a she cause I just took a second look there are no bulge under her tail n for a 5 month old the gular chin will start color in but ur female doesnt. And female can have blue tint color on her cheek with orange shade...she is a pretty female!! Get the laying bin for the pretty grl lol.

    Male or female??

    The second n fifth pics tells me its a female..if u want .u can take a close pic again on the cham's both hind feet if u can see a spur then its a male.
