Nah I think you're ok. I've never been beaten by the mods with a wet superworm for being a snarky, tactless cham enthusiast. Cussing, name calling, threats, rule violations that kinda stuff gets you in trouble. I think they all know we get tired of the same stupidity over and over again. Some...
I was responding with sarcasm. I saw your sarcasm and raised you in sarcasm. I may egg you on sometime though. You started it. :p
That's why you didn't know why I was being sarcastic I didn't use an emoji
Your last one didn't just die for no reason. You're doing something wrong. You should've done a whole bunch of research about their care before rushing out and getting another petstore cham. Now you're back asking questions, it might be sick, it might not, eh it looks ok now. I don't need to...
Ditch the halogens and the UV cards. They already explained why you should get rid of the halogen. You need to ditch the UV card because it measures if there is any UV output not UVB output all by itself. So it could give you a positive reading but the bulb isn't putting out the correct...
I read the other thread you posted last month and now this one. You ask for help, people respond and ask you questions, you don't answer, you don't fill out the how to ask for help form as requested, you want your problem solved and spoon fed answers when information is readily available to you...
Yes WC come in with parasites but lots of CB end up with parasites too from feeders. People freak out over parasites but they're not that big of a deal and are easily managed in a healthy animal.
Any good breeder wouldn't allow a petstore to keep an animal that they bred in substandard conditions so I would question their claim that the cham came from a local breeder.
Unless you heavily plant the enclosure you won't need a 10.0 uvb bulb and the ceramic heat emitter is one necessary if your house gets below 55 degrees at night. During the day use a regular incandescent bulb for basking.
Don't delay on getting the lay bin set up and learning everything you can about the process. Egg binding can kill her and she looks like she's ready to lay.
I was going to feed vertebrates to my melleri once he was larger, I've seen a video of @jpowell86 melleri eating an anole. Gruesome and amazing all at once. I think the video is in his media collection if you're interested. I definitely think it's a good idea to offer it occasionally to the...
Ok then I propose to start a reptile dating site. Guys can meet women like me and I can find guys that don't think I'm a little strange for having a whole room dedicated to lizards and bugs. Like I never know when to tell a guy I'm dating "Hey btw, I have a room full of chams, a snake, oh and...
If you can't deal with having live insects in your house, a cham is not the right animal for you, There's no way around live bugs. Trying to make a cham eat dead bugs is akin to making a cat go vegan.
