Keeping my little guy outside for the summer. Bad idea?

I'm in Delaware and if we have a storm roll through, they get rained on. I keep mine out 24/7 right now.

Don't be a thread jacker, if you have a question of your own start another thread. It's poor etiquette to hijack someone's question

    Large feeders

James you're only a few hours away from me, I'm in Delaware. Katydids are some of my chams favorite treats. I leave my porch light on and let the bugs come to me. Cicadas should be a tasty treat in the summer too

Found out my veiled chameleon was gravid a little too late

I love the size of the cage but it needs tons more climbing branches and foliage for her to hide in. Live plants are the best and it should be so much you have a hard time finding her in it. Making it look like a jungle is no exaggeration

I got my 1st veiled 20 years ago. She lived 4 years despite my terrible care, I only had iguanas before her and had no idea what I was doing and not a lot of info around on how to care for her either. After her though, chameleons were all I wanted.

Found out my veiled chameleon was gravid a little too late

Filling out the how to ask for help form will help us help you get your care spot on for her. Chances are she hasn't mated and those eggs are infertile but even if they weren't IMO it would be better to not let them hatch 1. Because she's a petstore cham and they would more than likely hatch...

Hahaha I remember when we all thought heat rocks were a good idea. I do not have mine from that era. I just stare at people and wonder was I that dumb at that age because I surely don't remember being that stupid

Baby Chameleon not eating or drinking

Creating multiple threads asking the same thing isn't going to get you more help. You already had a lot of good advice from some very knowledgeable keepers on your other thread. I suggest you listen to what they have to say and if you need clarification about what they're telling you then you...

    UVB bulbs for T8

My cat free roams everywhere but the cham room, don't let me leave the door open either, not even for a second or he will sneak in there and get on top of the chams. Not to bother them, just to be up high and somewhere he isn't supposed to be. I used to have guinea pigs and they were in a...
