    Help with Humidity Levels

Awesome! Make sure to replace the Exo Terra vines, too. I can’t wait to see it fully done, great job so far! For cutting out the top, you can tape a trash bag inside the top of the cage to catch debris while cutting so hopefully nothing ends up in the enclosure

Brand new male Veiled. How can I help him de-stress?

The urate comes out with the poop, so it should be near that. It might not be white, it could also be partially or fully yellow or orange. This is another reason quarantine cages are good. Could you take out the bioactive layers and save it to the side (that way it stays alive and keeps running)...

Brand new male Veiled. How can I help him de-stress?

I have no idea if mild hand soap is okay, so hopefully someone else can chime in on that, but did you rinse the branches extremely well after the bath before you baked them? I think he’s so dark because he needs more plant cover throughout the cage he can fully hide behind Could you post a pic...

Chameleon pulled out her claw and is now sleeping at the bottom of the cage please help!

You can get a couple if you want, just no Exo Terra or moss vines, or any fake vines with fake leaves on them. Fluker’s Bend-A-Branch are good fake vines, but if/once they start to deteriorate (pieces/chunks falling off, wire exposed), you need to toss and replace them It’d need to go...

You can use fishing line, zip ties, or push pins (directly into the middle in the end of the branch only). You can attach them with any of those straight to the screen or use garden trellis/build a structure with sticks to attach the branches to

I don’t want to rush you, but I would try to decide as quickly as possible, as she needs lots of husbandry changes along with possible vet care (that can get expensive) in the future. If you keep her, you can take her outside for natural uvb and even have an outdoor cage!

That isn’t sufficient enough and can breed bacteria. You can do it at minimum with either one umbrella plant and a couple of pothos or 4-6 pothos throughout the cage

Chameleon pulled out her claw and is now sleeping at the bottom of the cage please help!

Because she is a veiled, it will only work with live plants, and all cages need drainage. You can make your own drainage solution like the ones on here: https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/drainage-systems-for-cages-get-creative.102038/ or buy a premade one here...
