Got some video of the orange heads eating mealworm pupae. They love it.

    Behold!

Well I caught a female basking, she's heating her abdomen. You can see she's clearly pointing her abdomen at it, you can also see some babies basking, they do have a heat pad area as well, so they are choosing to bask.

    Behold!

Here's something you don't see often, hissers basking. They are one of the few roach species that will actively make use of a basking spot. Females sometimes point their abdomen at it, but I have yet to see that. There were more, but they took offense to me approaching them for a picture...

    My hornworm are moths!

If you cage is large enough, you can use a hummingbird feeder to feed them, they only eat while flying so bear that in mind.

    Omg I'm in love

You call them tropical beetles too? Great minds think alike. My ivory and orange head palm beetles are awesome. :p The plain tropical beetles are impressive as well, sadly my other two species are a bit too obvious to obfuscate in such a manner.

Heat pads on the side of the cages works for me. Make sure the heater cover part of the cage that contains the substrate since some of the borrowers will dig next to it to feel warmer. My hissers get a red heat light buy they are the only exception.

    Are treated wax worms safe?

To further split the hairs, you can gut load waxies, BUT it's rather labor intensive in my opinion.

can anybody tell me whats wrong with this please

I don't see anything wrong either. As long as the animal is happy, and healthy who cares? Prime anole territory when I lived in Florida was a generator, pcv pipe, concrete floor and a fence post, the biggest most dominant anole chose that area, despite having access to more natural areas. And...

They cant even climb, your fine. A lot of people keep their red runners with no lids Males can flutter but females can't.

You really should do red runners, their soft bodied nature and reliable production make them nearly indispensable, especially for babies, they are a one size fits all roach. A big roach like the ivory head or orange head will serve you well if you get into bigger reptile species.

Indeed he is, but well worth the wait. You see the venom morph Periplaneta they got going? That is gonna be an heirloom breed in the future.

I hope so lol order nymphs if possible since they handle shipping better than adults, they also appreciate a bioactive setup with rotting wood and leaves. Indeed roach crossing is my primary dealer, however @jamest0o0 and @Hisserdude have great roaches.
