You will want to trade out the fake plants as they may eat them. I had a post where my male ate a straw and a foam ball. So trust nothing. Also check your plants, the one looks like a ZZ plant which are toxic. All mine munch plants too the stem.
The point is normal. It is his rib cage, it is flexible not like ours . I can see it on mine if I look.
As for the rest you are spot on. I understand the hot humidity thing we need to adapt a little.
If the heat gets bad you can run a fan to help. But looks good
It looks like it is just the angle, but would need more pictures. You should fill out the how to ask for help.

He looks young so this would be the time to make sure he is dialed in. They grow fast and problems can happen fast.
He...
So this is not 100%. They won’t seek UVB. They will seek the highest branch with bright light. That is why we need to align the lights correctly.
I have observed this in many animals
So if you look at the charts the light is cast in a cone. So at the top where the basking branch is if it is more than a couple inches off center there will be far less UVB. Like 3/4 by my measurements. So it is important to have basking in line with UVB.
I hope I explain that ok.
I have veilds so a little different, I think warmer.
But as far as eat waves go. We have been hit repeatedly in OR 100f and 68%. That ain't right lol. But they seem to be able to handle the short bouts OK. They did not like it and were dark and lethargic. They are in garage so no AC, never...
That seems odd at this point. Also you can't get smashed bugs through a syringe. My male was injured a while back and I had to use a syringe. There is a formula to make bug juice I can look up if needed. But as a not my male went 3 weeks before I attempted to feed. He know lives on 1 bug a day...
Don’t get that they are all on one cheap timer. A power strip with 1 smart plug would be the same.
I have looked for the same but they don’t seem to exist. Gosund has good options, they have a 6 way but only 3 programmable.
The best if you can is a 10 outlet shop strip. The sockets are further...
This is not on you. Without being in the hobby you would have no reason to think the information you were given was wrong. You likely did everything you believed to be correct.
The situation is rough, but it is quite possible for her to dump the eggs and pull through.
I am near Portland OR as...
The ends can catch in the material part, so it is just tension that holds it. It won't add strength but it keeps the material tight so UVB passes better. And it will hold a T5 if needed.
The trick is if the material blocks most UV that comes at an angle like the sides at noon. If the top...
Don't go to a lot of effort. I mean you can, but I just used 2 pieces of 1/4 in dowl to keep the top tight. No cutting gluing, just two sticks. They do not need a full internal frame they are pretty strong.
They are not great for UVB. It will only pass through where the sun is square to the cage. But this is true for any screen. I use the butterfly cages and they are really pretty good. The trick is to get some dowels to help keep the top stretched tight. This will allow the most UVB to get...
For the clear tubing, I get it at Home Depot but it is sold as fluorescent tube protectors. 12T = 1 3/4 pvc and T8 is 1 I think.
The trick is in the store they have clear 8fr was like $9. But online it is more expensive, so look for it stocked someplace.
