    Prolapse M/F

I agree - and I've probably missed it, but I've never seen a female prolapse on the forums. Just males.

    Prolapse M/F

Are male chameleons more prone to prolapse? It seems like every time I see one on the forums it's a male. Is this a hemipenile thing? I ask because I am in the very early stages of considering another chameleon and I've only had females in the past. My girls have been / are so sweet, and I just...

    Exploring

She won't necessarily get lumpy -- she will put on some weight in her belly, and when she is close to laying she may not want to eat. From the pics above she does appear to be big bellied. The lay bin should be in the enclosure all the time, so it's just a normal part of her environment. As...

    Potting soil

I second this brand. Also -- if no "fresh" poop is around grab some earth worm castings from the store. Stuff works great.

What do we do now that the time has changed?

Good point hyper color -- if you change you're lights you probably want to change your misting timer as well.

    Chameleon layed eggs.

You'll want a probe to measure her basking area. A digital thermometer with a probe that can control the temperature at basking like a herpstat, although there are cheaper options. She will lay more often if you feed her to much and have higher temps. My last girl would lay once a year but...

What do we do now that the time has changed?

Nope. I didn't reprogram. If I needed to adjust so I could feed them before work I would but I don't have too.

What do we do now that the time has changed?

I've always left mine the same. Hasn't seemed to matter much.

    Is my chameleon Egg Bound?

She does look plump. I'd remove the peat moss and go with a 50/50 play sand to organic potting soil mixture. You only want to give the vitamins and D3 twice a month. @kinyonga how long between being receptive a ready to lay?

    Playground Lights

You'll want a linear uvb on top of the enclosure. You can raise it off the enclosure a few ways, but in the past I have used blocks of wood to raise it up. Be careful keeping the enclosure by the window. It can heat up the enclosure in summer time and make it cold in winter (depending on where...

    Moving in new cage

As Klyde said, you'll need a linear t5ho fixture and 5.0 or 6% bulb. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K2AY8EW/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_YB1C9NQFX7NC4 7KW2A72I I agree about the dirt at the bottom. The plants and stuff look pretty good but maybe some more branches / vines for more pathways. You...

Chameleon drops food when it struggles

Are they maybe biting her? Both super worms and hornworms can bite. As said above there are some changes to be made to your setup so the chameleon can thrive. She will also need a lay bin as she will lay infertil eggs like a chicken. Check out the chameleon academy and that can give you some...

    Feeder dishes

I prefer banded. They smell way less and in my experience crawl/move around more so they're more attractive to eat.
