Was also interested and being in the North East had to dig into this!! You never know! Could be at the research station up there! This is Mt. Washington summit look at that average daily !
Repotting may get rid of them temporarily but they are usually present in damp soggy soil with poor drainage. Maybe lay off watering and let the soil dry out. If not predatory plants work well. When repotting you can use mosquito bits and that will also help keep numbers down!
It looks wierd for a t5 with some venting in the corner. Almost makes me think led light bar. Its also still small and not spanning the length of cage. Im interested to know what it is though!
Surprised noone has mentioned lighting yet ;). Your going to need a 24inch t5 ho with a 6% or 12% bulb. I would also recommend removing that daylightbulb that came with the kit. A incandescent bulb works great for basking.
Maybe suck of crickets? Have you tried hornworms? I would suggest to fill out a husbandry form. It can be found in health section of forums under "How to ask for help". This will give us a better idea of whats going on husbandry wise. Never hurts to get another opinion! If you need help getting...
She looks like shes maturing nicely! Your lay bin should be in there all the time. :) Some proven methods to reduce clutch numbers would be to reduce feeding and make sure her basking temps are 80°f. There are many threads on here explaing the process in reducing clutch numbers!
Superworms are a better treat than staple food. I bet Beman will post a feeder chart because shes great like that!
Roaches, crickets, bsfl are all better options! Roaches would be my suggestion as a colony is super easy to maintain! On the plus side they dont smell or jump!
Theres always a possibility. I would focus on the soil mainly. Repot and wash plants down in shower. I would then spray enclosure down with a bleach water solution 1 to 10. Branches and everything. Then sit outside and let dry a week or so. The sun would be best as uv kills bacteria. Hope this...
So would definitely not fog during the day as others have stated. I would also get rid of that red heat bulb. Incandescents are the way to go. It would surprise me if that red light caused neurological problems but its possible.
