One thing to think about…larger chameleons sometimes eat smaller ones…so I’d be very careful with that to begin with.
Another thing to think about is what bacteria one species might bring into the mix with the other chameleons from other areas..

The problem is that eventually, if she keeps producing this many eggs, she will not be able to lay them all and likely develop follicular stasis as well.
What is the basking temperature?
How big are the locusts?
Field plankton…Iwould define as all the little bugs you might find in a field that would be edible by the chameleon.
You want to be selective though and not use bugs that eat plants or other insects that would be toxic to chameleons.
What your chameleon has could be fungal but it could be something else too.I’m not a vet so I can’t be sure.

I wonder if there are side effects for metronidazole that could be playing a part in the behaviour? Or if the heaviness of the Protozoa load die off could be a part of it?
