My order just shipped today. They will arrive in a USPS large or medium box with another smaller box containing the worms inside be careful as their fras will spill when you open it up
I without any hesitation always vote for more plants, especially if you can replace any fake ones. Pothos which it looks like you already have propagate very easily just cut and place in water for a week and it'll begin to root. They are great as they are strong they vine and spread quickly and...
my 2¢ is that It's gonna get very wet at that frequency and duration especially if your doing it every night.
Overnight I do a few very small bursts of 5 seconds or so from the mistking to maintain humidity without soaking the entire enclosure.
I think it was a casualty of the pandemic and supply / cost. I would happily buy a atrium as an upgrade from my zoo med given the chance. Even the drainage trays were unavailable for some time.
I think there is a time every keeper has to make the decision to transition to less feeders / every other day. This also goes hand in hand with what your feeding the chameleons food. If your not gut loading it's like eating food without any nutritional value.
A better photo of the chameleons...
In the 3-4 years I've kepty chameleon I've learned to avoid these at all cost. They are cheap and easy and that often comes with drawbacks.
The fake vines with rubberized material are a hazard as chameleons often puff up their eyes and rub them on branches and leaves the rubber can get into the...
They certainly love the led lights when inside. I had one that had to be pruned back regularly as it grew to the top of my enclosure. It was not an easy plant to prop. Of the handful of cuttings I got only one survived and I normally do pretty well with plants.
Good luck hopefully that cutting...
Was curious as my panther had changed from blue and green to a pastel color scheme around a year and then after a shed or two into a full red body now he doesn't even look like the same chameleon from 2020.
Beautiful colors either way !
Well a healthy appetite goes a long way. Gut load the bugs with some nutrient rich foods and if possible or your weather allows you to get the chameleon some natural light and maybe the sunlight will help re invigorate. Glad to hear that things haven't gotten worse.
I have a decent population of Porcellionides Pruinosus " powder blues" as well as the Armadillidium vulgare "Punta Cana"
If your starting a bio or just want healthier soil message me and we can figure out what shipping would be.
I struggle with gnats between houseplants yard plants chameleon enclosure but hands down the worst culprit is my isopod tubs.
I've used the bits with mixed results I feel like it's a war long and hard fought you need to win the numbers game and kill as many of the gnats as possible and...
After some Beast Mode Silk Worms for breakfast this beast is doing a victory lap to make sure there are none left in the enclosure. Maybe later big guy.
I found the mistking available from a few spots but was shocked what some people are asking for them
This is the retailer I purchased from

Some folks have posted threads about diy options but I think it would end up looking just about the same and maybe shave a few bucks off the bill.
Mist king is the way to go. Amazing timer and long enough power cords you can easily hide or stash the reservoir. The tubing is cheap as are the...
