    Recently Imported Female Calumma Malthe

Been getting ground down like an unwanted stump, but still fighting 'til the end. Yeah, I ordered 2.2 C. malthes but one female came in as what I believe to be C. crypticum based on size, but may be a C. brevicorne. I'm guessing Craig would be able to ID a brev. I'll pm you the rest of the...

    Distilled water

I know it picks up a few elements from the atmosphere, but rain is the natural process of distillation. For what it's worth.

Basking bulb burned out this morning

It is true that a regular household bulb of correct wattage is fine for supplying heat, but I can't tell from the picture if you have the required UVB producing blub to keep him healthy, and a 6500k bulb would help the plants and add visible light. Also, it's a little more natural to have the...

    Bejeweled Tar Baby

Well, if its true that the predatory figures of Brer Fox and Bear represent the oppressive "white" faction that was outsmarted by the subservient "black" Brer Rabbit, then the "racist" writer failed miserably at promoting the correct protagonist, not to mention the life lessons of Uncle Remus...

    Bejeweled Tar Baby

That's funny because I only had the golden book and my memory was that of "Burr Rabbit". Not being sure my memory serves me correctly.

Jackpot!:The Irony of a Sticky Situation Just wanted to bump this up and keep the conversation going. Wouldn't want to see this thread from falling into the depths of oblivion, now would we? Of all the things I would have liked to be acknowledged and given credit for, this is it huh?. Thanks...

    Werners chameleons

Pretty straight forward montane from my experience. Cooler temps., upper 70s with decent humidity. I've had luck with open top bins with paper towel substrate to keep the small crickets from drowning and to hold the humidity a little bit. Just be ready to keep tiny feeders on hand for quite a...

    Werners chameleons

I've got the perfect girl for this boy. PM me some info please. I've found that they start off small and stay that way for quite a while. Very slow growing but if the neonates are healthy and conditions are right for montanes, they've done pretty well for me.
