I had a Pfeffer's chameleon several years ago that I never saw eat. I had him for about a year and his weight about tripled in the time I had him, but I never saw him eat a single time.
The problem with the aviary is it's made of wrought iron which will rust with all the moisture of a chameleon enclosure, so I wouldn't recommend that. As for the reptibreeze kit, I would double check that it comes with the 24x24x48 size cage. At only a 2 dollar difference, I strongly suspect...
I just got a pair of Calumma brevicorne fom LLL reptile yesterday. Here are some pics of the male.
And the female.
I also got some high speed footage of them catching blue bottle flies.
I just ordered some roaches from them and in the shipping notification email I got it said it's being shipped from Puyallup, WA. I don't see why it would be so expensive to ship it 35-40 miles to Seattle, but you could try contacting them to see if you could just pick it up in person.

Anthropology from is a social science that deals with the origins, physical and cultural development, biological characteristics, and social customs and beliefs of humankind, so it's doubtful you would find an anthropological record for chameleons :p.
Does having owned a Jackson's in the past count? My first chameleon was a Jackson's I named Jack, but that was 8 or 9 years ago.
ps: I almost named my now 5 month old montium Jack just because you named your Jackson's Monty :p.
I took a few pictures of a couple of my baby montiums today, so here they are ;).
This picture would have come out better, but the lens started fogging over :p.
He weighs 2.23g now. When he hatched, he weighed 0.54g. The past few weeks, he's been putting on some good weight. The last four weeks I've weighed him, he weighed 1.54g, 1.87g, 2.02g, then 2.22g. You're probably more used to quads, too. My male quads each weigh about 100g, but montiums...
My 4 month old montium is just starting his second shed :D. I took this pic of him tonight before lights out.
You can see the skin shedding on his horn and the skin around his eye just starting to loosen. I also finally picked a name for him, Thomas Cernunos. I picked it because Thomas...
