I was trying to take pictures him yesterday but he was really not cooperating. He has no interest in coming out of his enclosure now and I made it too easy for him to get out of my reach lol
He is sitting so close to the light because he is trying to soak up the minuscule amount of UV coming off of your light. Follow Brodys direction above and you’ll be on the right track soon!
Pictures would help... but if he is 50 grams I don’t think he is 4 months old that seems really big to me. But I’m not experienced in veiled chams so I could be wrong!
I don’t think it would, and I think the benefits he will get from being outside will outweigh the temporary stress he will feel from switching enclosures twice a year :)
He is beautiful, as are your enclosures! I know we have several keepers here that house their chameleons outside during the warmer months with no issues, they tend to actually see more naturalistic behaviors from their Chams in doing so. As long as temps don’t drop too low, you should be fine. I...
She may very well lay fertile eggs since you had her housed with a male. Also side note, whether it's a M/F or a M/M pair, chams should never be housed together. Just for your future reference!
