I only have a minute here but wanted to reply quick. Fill out the How to Ask for Help form that is in the health clinic. Copy and past it here with your answers and then we can help better.
What I will say is, definitely pull the red light like stated above. No light at night at all. This...
I also meant to mention that as well as just separating them you will need to have a barrier up so they can not even see each other. Having a line of sight to each other will cause stress. Stress will weaken the immune system and cause them to be more susceptible to sickness.
You can give them the quenchers I just wouldn't rely on that as their only source of food. What you are listing is good.
Definitely do not co habitate. Chams are solitary and putting them together will only cause stress and one would dominate the other and cause death of one or both. Even...
First I would say, read through the care sheet for veiled. You have a girl. there is no tarsal spur that I can see. You will need to read up on a lay bin. She will need one as females will lay eggs without being mated.

There is also a...
Sorry I have not responded, I have been off the forum for a few weeks! Just been really busy.
There are several ways you can supplement.
The standard that is in the care sheets is with 3 different powders....
1. Calcium with NO D3 daily
2. Calcium With D3 twice a month
3. A multivitamin...
I absolutely love these guys! Thanks for the glimpse into their behavior. Would you be willing to do a thread on them and what you have observed? I wold be very interested in what you have learned.

I'm going to assume you haven't had him long because of how small he is......it will take a little while for him to get the routine down. Soon he will learn the lighting schedule and get to a spot sometime before the lights go out. They can get into really weird positions sometimes to sleep...
Im curious where you heard 2 times a day with a glass enclosure? Not that I don't believe you, I'm just wondering your source. Even with glass they still need enough misting to stimulate them to drink and to clean out their eyes. The need is still there even with glass. I had my veiled in a...
Whatever your decision, good luck. That A LOT of animals to move. We've made a career of moving and I hate it every time. Hopefully after this one we will just have one more to move to where we want to retire to.
I would also suggest ditching the red heat light and opting for a bright white incandescent house bulb. And as said above, make sure you know the temps at the basking spot.
I would also suggest upping a couple of the mistking sessions to a couple of minutes. I have mine go off 5 times a day...
My first guess would be dehydration. There shouldn't be any orange in his urates. Misting 1-2 times a day is not enough.
Glad you will be getting a mistking set up soon. I have mine set up to go off 5 times a day. Once for 5 minutes and the rest for 2 1/2 minutes. Sometimes it takes a few...
This is very true that in the wild the bugs don't get put away at night. Lol. My reason for mentioning it is that it is something we can control and could be a contributing factor in a Cham not eating well during the day. I
Yup. I had the 36" first bust exchanged it. They are very heavy and I have to use cross beams so it didn't fall through the screen. I was afraid though that it was too much pressure on the frame. the 48" hangs over about and inch on both sides but is much more sturdy.
We just found out we will be moving this summer as well. Ours will only be an 8 hour move but it will be from Texas to New Mexico in JULY! Its going to be HOT.
I agree with @Remkon, if you can wait, I would. The last move we made I had one male veiled and a bearded dragon and I actually...
