It takes patience. I have had to stand there for literally 20 minutes with a feeder in hand for one of my chams to take it. He did eventually but man my arm hurt. So, be patient and do it when you have time to wait, and wait, and wait. Find something he really really likes. My ambanja is a...
I was actually asking @EarlMT because if what he had said.
For you, I would tell you to get the correct suppliments as soon as possible. Correct supplementation is extremely important.
You could go and get a washing machine drain pan from Lowes or Bome Depot. Then you can drill holes in it and place it on a tub or have a cage stand with a hole in it to be able to place a bucket under it.
MBD needs vet care. Your Cham needs a calcium shot and or liquid Calcium that only a vet can give. Your other option would be to find a rescue that can take him and give him the vet care he needs.
In mine I have the 6% UVB, 2 day bulbs and a plant grow bulb. Seriously though, email Todd at [email protected], tell him exactly what you have and he will walk you through it and make the recommendation about your specific needs.
Please read through the careaheets. Follow them to the letter.
I agree you should move the basking area down just a bit. And 80-90 is a huge variant for a basking spot. You need to know exactly what it is. 80 is too low and 90 would be too hot for her right now. It should be right around 85...
Your best bet is to talk to Todd at Light You Reptiles. I have a quad 48" and I have a 6% in it now because my cage is not filled out yet. When the plants grow in and it's time to replace the UVB bulb them I will go with the 12%. Also, it will depend on where you place the bulb. If it is in...
Warm enough for a little steam but not so hot you can't touch.i
m not sure why you are posting picture of you Cham on this persons thread?? Do you have a question? From the pictures, your Cham doesn't look healthy. Please start you own thread the forum members can help you.
Knowing the temperature is more important the amount of heat lights you have. You need to make sure her basking spot is the right temperature. Digital probe or a temp gun is a vital piece of equipment.
Bubbles can also mean respiratory infection. She may need a vet.
Have you read through the care sheets under the resources tab here on the forum? If not, I highly suggest you do and follow it to the letter. That is how to keep her happy
To help you more though we need more info. Please fill...
Here is what I have....

*Light Your Reptiles Quad 48" fixture with 2 Daylight bulbs, a Plant Grow Bulb and an Arcadia 6% UVB Bulb(bulbs were included in the price of the fixture)
*mini dome with a 75watt house bulb for basking spot
*Mistking automatic...
I've had that too. Another option would be to place a plant outside the cage with the door open and a bridge to the plant. They may or may not go for it. I have a very stubborn panther and had to remove everything but the branch he was on before I could get him into a position I could get him...
I didn't really figure you took it away completely but honestly sometimes on here there would be the odd duck that would have and I had to check.;)
If you haven't already, Please look at and read through the care sheets under the resources tab. There is a ton of misinformation floating around...
When you say removed it, you didn't take it away completely, right? He still needs a heat lamp and a UVB but placed on top of the screen not in it. With it inside they can get too close and get burned.
