    Thanks Everyone.. I'm so excited about these guys, they are hatching out without any problem so far.These are orange eye sired by Harley. I bought Harley when he was about 15-20 months old back in 2007. 2 more hatched today.

    The beaks of humming birds in North America are softer than a persons fingernail keratin so not a real concern.

    They are a natural food for them, more so than roaches. I have observed parsons eating hummming birds on more than one occasion.
