This is true they will eat any and everything. I wanted to give them as natural a habit as possible so I have them in an enclosure with dirt and I water it at least once a week because I have earth worms in the dirt too. When I first put the earth worms in with three supers (I wanted to see if I...
Forgive me if this is the wrong area to post this but: I tried breeding crickets for the first time and over the weekend they hatched! I'm so excited but no one I know is nearly as excited about this process but I knew you guys would at least appreciate this feat. I bred both brown and black...
@Matt Vanilla Gorilla haha Matt your whole family is just a huge chameleon lover it's great! Tell your son to be careful on spoiling him or one day he'll be outside letting him get some sun and through a string of events find himself in his neighbors tree like "hi yea sorry I'm in your tree...
Do you have any real plants in there to go along with the fake plants? I know veilds are known to eat their plants. You don't want your little guy munching down plastic and then getting sick or impacted.
Yo @Sloppysponge are you asking if his mouth is perfectly lined up or is this for the other person? If so yes his mouth is lined up fine. And he doesn't have any problems shooting or anything. I think I was just feeling paranoid and letting anxiety take over.
Does Tony's mouth seem idk odd? Like is it a normal chameleon mouth or does it look infected? The videos and pictures aren't the best quality because he wouldn't hold still.
I thought I was going to see something tragic like a baby Cham being eaten alive. I was very nervous clicking on this thread. Lol. But I'm happy I did this little guy looks SO done with these fruit flies haha.
Wait don't mist her while she's sleeping! That is a terrible idea. It'll make her cold/wake her up. Don't do that. When she's asleep let her be asleep.
Also when I say the cage could be up somewhere higher I don't mean like it has to tower over everything in the house. I just mean the top of the cage could be higher than you. If that's possible.
As Andee said above he might be impacted if you're finding rocks in his poop then in top of that he hasn't pooped in a while. The best case is to take him to the vet as was also mentioned. Also mistings with warm water will help to make the poor guy want to poop. Warm water sometimes makes my...
I'm not sure, but aren't you afraid his tongue will get stuck to the napkin if he shot for a cricket? This would be my fear. You did good back taking the night light out. I know it would seem like they would need a night light because of the moon in the wild but these divas like it extremely...
If she's looking a little bloated that might be a sign that she's gravid. Some times I believe they take on a darker coloration when they are getting ready to lay. You might want to make her a lay in for her cage. I've never had a female but @Kristen Wilkins has a female veiled so I'm sure...
