so..... your not denying it.
JK no pressure. Get your new boy home and comfortable and we will circle back closer to the end of the year. I'm glad this community has such a good vibe throughout. I have been on a lot of forums that quickly become toxic and I leave.
I have cut her down to every other day but she just seems so hungry when I would give her some again. She has just reached a year old and will be breading her soon so we shall see if she is sterile I guess haha.
Unless you are ready or capable of shipping him and is equipment I recommend telling people where about your located and a little history about him.
I am sorry to hear you have to give him up. I would be heart broken to have to make this choice
I am not sure if there is a difference in species but mine is a female panther. I keep her temps pretty stable in the 80s and feed her 5 appropriate size and gut-loaded crickets a day. I had to cut her back as she would eat as many as you gave her and I was concerned about her weight. I do have...
I found these on Amazon that help keep the chams out of the dirty water that collects. It wont stop crickets of course. This piece works well for 18 X 18 but I used 2 of them for my 18 x 36 base. I am sure there has to be something similar for 24 x 24...
Is this a rule of thumb because I thought @jannb said it has more to do with the food frequency and volume? Not doubting you but now I am curious. My female is a year old and has not laid anything yet.

My guys never took wax worms. I had to use horns as bait to fish them out. Congrats as this is a big step to gaining trust. Just make sure you don't break that trust otherwise it will take a long time to get it back.
I was going to say the same thing. hahaha I think this was a smart move on @Matt Vanilla Gorilla part to get a third cage into your house. One day your going to look at that sad lonely empty cage and think where can I fit that guy.
I love the dragon strand ones but already had an exo terra so I wanted the others to match. I like the exo terra latches are metal and can lock (I have kids) over the zoo med but I like the zoo med drip tray better since it is flat where te exo terra has large ridges. Neither of these things...
I mix 2 scoops of bug burger and 1 scoop of superload in a tupperware and store it in the fridge. I also give them cricket crack as a dry load for when they eat all the burger.
I build a 3 or 4 stick structure that pushes out to the sides but not enough to warp the cage. These sticks are held together using zip ties and the branches converge in the middle and run from top to bottom. Then I use horizontal sticks to push the main ones out for strength and walk ways...
