My friend picked a daffodil from a plant at school and gave it too me. She said I should feed it to my chameleon, just as a joke at first but now I’m wondering if I actually can. Can I feed it to him as a treat?
my chameleon will go into his position to sleep 2-3 hours before the lights go off. Not a big deal most of the time. However, if hes is sleeping before the lights go out that might be a problem. Usually a sign or lack of energy for whatever reason.
i use sticks from my backyard. Put them in the oven for 20 mins at 450, clean off any dead stuff and your good to do. But as the others said they should be fine as long as rough them up a little bit.
Hello i am working on a chameleon project for my herp class and I need the gallon sizes for the cage sizes 16”x16”x30” and 24”x24”x48”. Would any of you know?
Thanks
Thank you for the post but we have figured out the problem. Friday morning I let him out to free range and he started to have a hard time breathing so I called the vet and they wanted him in immediately, so we rushed him over there and dropped him off and he stayed there for the day. Abt 4 hours...
I don't usually feed him everyday but abt every other day, how did u give ur Cham the pill? Just squeez if into his mouth? And I will look into the cricket food. I bought some hornworms a couple days ago so maybe he will gain an appetite and eat them!! I'll feed him next Friday after I get home...
No I have never gone longer than a day w/o eatting. Should I try it?? His aim is fine but he does tend to like to shoot closer to his target then he used to when he was a baby. What is that Vit A supp u were talking abt? Maybe I can try that!!
No I do not have substrate in his cage. I do for some of them. His crickets I do not but the hornworms, silkworms and dragonflys I do. Occasionally I'll let his superworms crawl up the screen but mainly feed from tweezers. It really depends on how long he wants to be out of the cage. I'll open...

If u have a uvb bulb, bring him out every once and a while for natural light, and change ur uvb every 6 months u don't need D3 (my vet told me and my Cham has been doing gr8 w/o it.) Over "dusting" as he said could be dangerous and could b very harmful. Dust with calcium w/o D3 every feeding and...
Nope but at all that's a lovely cage!! To be honest u can almost never have too much coverage (unless there is absolute no room for ur cham to climb lol)
