    Nutrition in organ meat...

Some young birds were blown out of the nest during a storm. I couldnt put them back in the nest. I fed them to bearded dragons, and the dragons perked up and laid eggs. Seemed that they were good for the dragons. OK, OK, slam me but the birds were dying, anyway.

I have wondered about pulverizing calcium or vitamin supplements for humans and using them for chams.

    Eating Bugs in the wild

If lightning bugs are active during the night, they probably hide during the day so predators cant find them.

    Food chains

Grass is mostly cellulose, which we cannot digest. Cattle eat grass, and because they are ruminants, have bacteria that can digest cellulose. Cattle can digest the bacteria or byproducts, and therefore can grow and produce beefsteak which we can eat. This is one simplified example of how...

    Salmonilla

I tried to sell chams to a popular pet outlet in Phoenix, and they said I would need to certify them as salmonella free. This was not in my range of expertise.

Comment by 'Bigsky' in 'The Philosophy of Gutloading PART 1.'

Thanks for posting.. Gutloading with fancy foods may be futile in part because insects' salivary glands start to break food down when it enters the buccal cavity.

    Fogger?

Get a mister/fogger for $20 on Amazon. Cut part of the side out of a plastic 64 oz. Ocean Spray container for a water reservoir. An appliance timer will work for timing. Lay it on its side. Put it on top of your cage and adjust for vapor flow. You will need to experiment a little.

    What is this pest?

The larvae are chewing in the leaf... stink bugs have piercing/sucking mouthparts and cannot chew on plants. Lady bugs are not phytophagous, either.

    What is this pest?

These are beetle larvae, order coleoptera, and have complete metamorphosis, that is- egg, laevae, pupae, and adult. Stink bugs are in the order hemiptera and have gradual metamorphosis, egg, nymph, and adult. I don't know if they are toxic to lizards, probably depends on what they are feeding on.
