I posted a bit ago, saying my Ambilobe baby wasn’t eating. Showed no interest in food. If he did eat, it would be 1-2 crickets out of 10 available. I posted my husbandry on that thread also.. I started talking to someone who breeds and also has his own. He was saying my little guys mouth was...
I’ll set that up ASAP. I was waiting for hubby to finish building his big cage to use it. But will change it now. I looked in his cage before lights out, I put 7 crickets in earlier can only find 2. I am hoping he ate them. And they aren’t in the plant hiding !!
It’s weird. He seem
I will take some pictures of his cage. And try to get some of him, since he’s always moving. And I don’t really want to handle him to cause more stress (if that’s the reason for his not eating)
Yes. He sent me a new one. He ate the first day I had him. Although today I threw in a few crickets. And I can only find 2 of them in the cage. I was thinking of buying roaches, but they aren’t available where I am from. And all the worms I’ve tried. None of my chams want to try them!! Lol
Cage Info:
Cage Type - What kind of cage are you using? What is the size?

Lighting - What kind of lighting are you using? How long do you keep the lights on during the day?
Basking bulb is...
I get what your saying. You have the “regular” nozzle, but have it sitting on top of your cage lol. Do you still mist your Chams throughout the day? And how is your humidity level?
I thought it was two completely different nozzles? So do you have anything inside your cage. Or only one on top? I’m trying to figure out which one to buy. And I’m totally clueless with this lol
I know it’s really popular, while I was looking into misting systems I stumbled upon a YouTube video of the rain nozzle. The girl switched all of her cages to that. It was really neat. Misted the top of cage and made it look like it was raining in the cage!
Gus is 4/4.5 months old. I’ve had him for about over a week. I got him from a very well known breeder in Canada. I do not plan on breeding. He’s not my only cham, I also have a super translucent veiled female! I will try and get some close up pictures. Can I message them to you ? I’ve already...
He also has not had a shed yet, he was just finishing his shed when I received him. I will keep an eye out when he does shed. If there’s nothing on that part of his tail, does it mean it’s dead? It does move a little bit, but doesn’t have much strength in it.
I’ve only had him for about a week. I paid full price, without any knowledge of these “issues”. His tail was also like that when I got him, so I guess it makes sense that maybe a sibling bit it like his toes? I have contacted the breeder and asked him to switch a chameleon. Since I paid a lot of...
