Not at all. Just a reasonable sized tank - 10 gallon - with about 2 inches of potted soil that you mist twice a day (so they can burrow and lay eggs). Just make sire they have access to fresh dark green leafy veggies, carrots, cucumber and calcium block and they'll multiply like crazy.
If you feed them when they're about dime sized the shell is not too hard for them to crunch.
I got some off eBay years ago. They multiply like rabbits.
Just to add, in my experience those smooth type branches can be problematic because they are much harder to grip, and I've noticed when I used such sticks in the past, my Chams would slip, loose their grip, etc. Those large exo terra jungle vines - which are textured - seems to be much better...
Well, are females know to joust?
While doing a thorough cleaning of my two enclosures, I placed the male and the other one (the one that passed the slugs who I thought was a male) both on the same branch and they started jousting each other....
I have what I thought was a Male Jacksons chameleon...that passed 4 slugs over the past two days; this may sound like a dumb question, but is it possible for males to drop slugs...?
I've always been under the impression that most four legged animals have the ability to swim, to some degree. Even arboreal animals such as Sloths have been documented swimming.
Most Chams don't like Nightcrawlers (the slime?). What specie is your cham? If it's a Jacksons, they love snails, which are high in moisture.
Other species of cham will readily eat Silkworms.
My Jacksons won't even look at dripped/sprayed water..but his urates are as white as snow; how you...
I have 3 Whites Tree Frogs. Two will eat just about anything. One will not touch Dubia roaches even when she's (?) clearly hungry.
I feed them twice a week varying between Dubia roaches, BB Flies, Hornworms, Silkworms and now Crickets.
