that is a gravid female. you need to set a laying bin up for her asap. that's why she's not eating. females lay infertile clutches of eggs without even seeing a male. you need to read up on the chameleon caresheets. you need to have WAY more foilage and nontoxic plants so you won't have to worry...
yes definitely needs to be exotic vet. Avian And Exotics is honestly the best place to go. standard vets don't typically deal with chams, and they could give VERYYY wrong advice if they weren't experienced
i'm honestly not sure what the best bet would be at this point... i guess just leave her alone and see how she is in the morning? i'm sorry i'm not very much help, i'll keep you and your cham in my prayers though
read the caresheets. also, exotic vet right? i live in tennessee too, i took my lizzie to Avian And Exotics Pet Center. they are AMAZING and miss Tonnie Ray knows all about chams
I read plants were bad but I don't know. I have everything from the starter kit
please read through the caresheet. it has everything you need to know. it's not your fault, pet stores don't know what the heck they are talking about.
please fill out that form. don't feel bad, chameleons are just very fragile. i'm 12 and i had my female veiled pass in september. i can relate. that form will really help us find out the cause and help your cham now and prevent this from happening in the future.
please fill this out @Memorie_kaitlyn it would really help us and your cham bunches and we could figure out how to prevent this in the future and make your cham hopefully feel better
