you can hand feed phoenix worms so he will associate good things from your hand. You can also buy medium size in the worms if he's 4-5-months old he should be able to handle medium ones.

Butter and wax worms are very fatting would only use them as a treat now and again. The idea is a varied diet. and someone on the forum made a feeding cup and it's very simple to make with mesh attached to it and worms crawl up it to get his attention. The best time to feed is in the morning...

I would personally cup feed if he is a baby-When I had one before I cup fed and he would wait every morning sitting on the cup after he warmed up for his breakfast. Make sure his worms are small for him.Others will come a long soon for their ideas. hope it helps you a little.
