I have a hydrometer and thermometer with probes. I let the probe sit in each place I’m trying to measure for 10 minutes then check on it. Her basking branch was 82 today, below was 79, the bottom of her enclosure I have a sweater thermometer which usually reads 60-65. The coldest area is 65 but...
They’re all sold out of the one you linked :( . And a question. When I do get this, do I put it inside the cage or near it? Would you mind showing me how yours is set up?
Haha no they are not, I order them from Josh’s frogs. I didn’t think they were gonna hatch though I’ve had them for over a month. Was about to throw them out so I’m glad they hatched today!
I haven’t been so happy to see a fly in my house but oh my goodness I thought they were never gonna hatch. My girl enjoyed two flies today for the first time and I just wanted to share my excitement lol.
Yeah I use a sheet over her enclosure at night and it keeps the humidity a little higher for longer but I am looking into getting fogger or automatic mister.
If you could direct me to some links for a fighter or humidifier, preferably on Amazon. I can order it today. I’ve been looking into getting one I know they can get a bit pricy but I feel like it’s worth it. My girl seems to like the colder areas a lot more as well. But this did help, thank you.
Okay I have a 75 watt because I worrying she was getting too cold. It doesn’t get higher than 85 but should I go back to a 65 watt? And okay I’ll stop stressing about the humidity.
The humidity in my house is actually around 30 during the day. but for some reason her enclosure will not reach humidity levels over 27% if I don’t mist a second time during the day. She has a 24x24x48 all screen enclosure I’ll link a pic below. I want to get a humidifier or digger so if you...
I haven’t fed my Cham wax worms in over a month and forgot that I still had them so today I opened it and they were all red and squishy. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone lol I assume they’re dead but the dead ones are usually black so
Hello, I am just wondering about my humidity and temps I know they aren’t terrible but I am having a bit of trouble. It’s started snowing where I live and it doesn’t get past 66 at night and I can get the humidity up to 99 every night. My concern is the day time humidity and temps, her basking...
So I have been really thinking lately that I want to get another chameleon since money won’t be an issue and I will be able to provide everything I need for it. But I have been looking into Pygmy chameleons and was wondering what I should consider before getting one and I obviously want to set...
My chamelon is such a character. I find her doing the weirdest things sometimes. Last night when I went to turn her lights off she was just sitting so hilarious. So I just wanted to share
