I'm selling the adult female Calumma parsonii cristifer that laid 39 eggs for me. She's alert, strong, and has a great appetite. You can purchase her on the following link using the drop-down menu: http://www.backwaterreptiles.com/chameleons/parsons-chameleon-for-sale.html

Hi Ponders,
They're doing great, I've sold quite a few, and have about 10 or so left. I lost about 8-9 out of the 39, two of which were a day after hatching, so overall I'm fairly pleased. They're big fans of house/blue bottle flies right now.

Great post, so cool. I had a gravid import two years ago but she died before laying. Your female looks healthy and vibrant. I'm amazed she can eat so much when gravid.
Your post was a lot of fun for me to read, because a couple weeks ago I got quite a few C. brevicorne eggs, and I was reading...
Thanks Chris!
Strangely enough, brevicorne eggs are the only species of chameleon eggs I've received that I haven't been able to hatch. In 2015 when I first tried, the eggs went bad in 2-3 months. I'm wondering if they do better with the Parson's-type incubation (diapause, etc).
Thoughts?
Sam
About ten days ago I had a banner week for C. brevicorne eggs, 85 in total, spanning three different clutches. One of the clutches had 36 eggs, which was amazing to me based upon my experience with them. I've had three other clutches (in 2015) that ranged from 17-23 eggs.
As luck would have it...
My gravid female C. p. cristifer just laid 39 beautiful eggs this morning. I've been monitoring her remotely in the evenings with a video app on my iPhone, so it was interesting to observe/learn from her behavior, both pre and post laying. She preferred more water in the soil.
I'm not an expert...
I purchased a few Madagascar chams recently and received two gravid Calumm parsonii cristofer available for $1,500 each. Guaranteed gravid (can feel eggs), in great shape.

Quick update:
So the baby Yellow-lips are around 8-10 weeks old now, and I've lost a total of four out of 39. Two of those were lost right out of the egg. I haven't lost one in about a month so they all seem to be stabilized and doing well. They're eating 1/4" crickets and I'm introducing blue...
Yep, after several weeks I've lost just 3 of 39, so I'm still pleased with how things are turning out thus far. Some are growing faster than others. There's definitely no lack of food.
Misting has been a bit of an ordeal. I had a new Monsoon on hand that I was able to install for eight of the cages right away, and they mist for 12 seconds once per hour of daylight. Why 12 seconds? Because it's a pre-set level on the dial, and it pretty much soaks everything. Longer than 12...
Ok, 39 is the official number of hatchlings. I sorted through the hatching bin and there was one egg left. The cham had pushed a very good-sized tear in the shell, but it couldn't get out. I opened the egg fully and it the cham was deceased--looked like I was 2-3 days late, so I guess nature...
Yes, I of course understand where you're coming from regarding their sizes. Plus, as Jeremy mentioned, the larger they are, the more they're worth, so I have a vested interest in getting them bigger and more stable.
Thanks much, I appreciate it!
Haven't lost any babies yet, and the first ones hatched nearly two weeks ago, so my hope/expectation is there won't be a massive die-off, which is something I've seen with some species. But, I've also never kept baby chams individually before--that's got to be...
