Yep, I weighed one and the digital scale kept going back and forth between 1g and 2g, but stayed mostly on 1g. They're little buggers, no bigger than a Veiled hatchling. Considering how big their eggs got, I thought I'd have some huge babies, but that wasn't the case at all.
I'm using 5.0s...
Checked the incubator an hour or so ago and there were three more chams, so we're at a total of 39 now.
Haven't lost any yet, but there will no doubt be some losses. Hopefully limited.
Yes that's how I learned they are like cham crack. He brought some big hoppers up for a couple adult Parson's I had and they annihilated them in seconds. They had already eaten that day so I didn't expect them to be interested at all.
Here's a quick snapshot of my current setup. The reason for the different colored lighting is that I'm using two different types of UVB bulb.
Any critique from those who have raised Parson's before is welcome.
She laid 63 eggs originally. They all looked pretty good--there's a thread here with pictures somewhere.
I decided to test damp sphagnum moss as an incubation medium with ten of the eggs. My considerations were:
1.) Natural anti-bacterial properties (great, right?)
2.) Natural acidic qualities...
Ok, I spoke too soon.
After I posted I went and checked the incubator and there were eight more babies that hatched since yesterday evening. So, I'm going to have to double-up temporarily in a few enclosures.
The total hatch number is now 34.

Sam
I spent some time today putting together 12 more Dragon strand cages with my wife, and now have 24 built. The setup looks nice and uniform--I'll post pictures tomorrow.
So, now nearly all of the chams have their own enclosure. Still haven't lost any, but at the same time I very rarely see them...
I originally was housing them individually in my Dragon Strand baby cages, but I've had to double-up now that so many are hatching in such a short period of time (nine in the last 48 hours). I've got 12 cages set up, and my wife and I are going to build 6-12 more tomorrow (Fri). So, I'll get as...
Thanks everyone, much appreciated!
We're up to 26 hatchlings as of this morning (Thursday). Haven't lost a baby so far, they're all doing well. We'll see I suppose.
I've been feeding them hydei, melanogaster, and 1/8" crickets. Might experiment with baby roaches in the coming weeks.
Best...
11/28 AM update:
I took a peek into the incubator and four more have hatched as of this morning, for a total of 16 so far. I gave the eggs a light misting a couple days ago and it seems to have accelerated hatching somewhat.
Sam
Thanks much.
I kept the female for 8-9 months after laying, and then sold her to a guy who wanted to breed her. He said she passed about six months later.
Here's a closer look of the three Yellow-lips from the above picture. The one in the middle is the one that was partially out of the egg--I helped him out and he was running around about five minutes later.
