    Feeding silkworms

I feed mine the chow, but as stated above it depends on how big you want them to grow. They will eat day and night basically until all the food is gone. If you want to slow down the growth you can feed them every other day. When they get big enough, they will start cocooning if you do not...

    How To Sex Baby Panthers

I think you have a boy. I would like to see a few more pictures with your chameleon right side up though. The tail is a little thick for a female and there is a slight bulge. I am not 100% but should be able to confirm with more pictures. You also should start your own thread with your own...

1-2 month old ambilobe panther cham not walking on rear left leg

I would try spraying his foot with water to loosen it up. Do you have as sprayer bottle? If you put hot water in bottle, it will spray out warm. Test it out first. I have removed shed on feet before manually. You have to be very careful though and i would not do to a chameleon you just...

Veiled Thinks I am food!any help?

Superworms are better to offer than mealworms. They are high in Chitin also though and fatty so of course in moderation. I would not use mealworms at all.Have you tried silkworms? It is not healthy to just feed one type of insect. Variety is best.

    I'm sad. I'm failing.

Get some doll rods or go outside and look for branches. You can also buy Biovine at any pet store. Wash branches with soap and water. Che ck for bug infestation.

1-2 month old ambilobe panther cham not walking on rear left leg

Going "somewhere new"from stress as stated above will not cause a chameleon to favor its leg. It is possible it injured it in someway . Hanging the leg down off the branch for prolonged period of time can indicate it is in pain.

    Heartbeat?

I think you would need a video for that. A picture would not show something moving.

do you see the pink throat, and that is obviously a female, and i have found zero photos of a male

People confuse bulges with the actual vent itself. I think that is what you are seeing. There is no hemipenal bulge in those photos.

do you see the pink throat, and that is obviously a female, and i have found zero photos of a male

Because of the tail base. Males this young do not have bulges yet, but the tail pretty much extends straight out from the vent like this one.. Females have a thinner tail base and there is a small indent after the vent. Have you looked at the "Kent Vent" method on how to sex panthers? I am...

    UVA in heat bulb

What size is your cage?. Wattage depends on other variables such as the ambient temperature in your house. If 60 is creating a good basking temp within the range for your species of chameleon, then it is fine. I actually use two in my 24 x 24 x 48 cages to give them a couple of options to...
