    Not Mouth Rot

Hello, I recently made a post about a J. Jacksonii with “mouth rot” I have come to the conclusion it isn’t mouth rot due to normal looking inside of mouth. There’s also little to no inflammation. The reason I thought it was mouth rot is because of a drooping dark corner of the mouth. After...

    Cleft lip? Mouth rot?

Weird thought here, have recently got a captive bred male Jacksonii jacksonii, and it seems to have what looks like a small cleft lip. Not worried about it, just curious to see if that’s an issue Chams can get. Haven’t seen any other topics on it here or google. Probably just missing some...

    First day outdoors

Hello, Today is my chameleons first day outdoors. I stuck her outside yesterday afternoon and she was fine during the colder weather. The smart thermometer read 60F. I’ve been keeping track of her while at work and managed to catch her basking. Seems that she’s enjoying the natural sunlight...

    Veiled Outdoors

If it doesn’t drop below 55 usually would I be fine? I know the veileds are sensitive to cold compared to Jackson’s. thanks

    Veiled Outdoors

Hello, I live in Orange County in Southern California. I know that Jackson’s can be kept outdoors year round no problem here, but was wondering about the veileds since that is what I have. Currently it is starting to cool down, with day temps in the mid to high 60’s to low 70’s. Night time...

    Stress during daytime

Oh, sorry it is a 5.0 I believe not 100%. Got a bad memory lol. But it is the right kind, I was directed away from the small bulb and told to get the linear one. Thanks!

    Stress during daytime

This could be it, her colors go back to green more when she’s wandering around the enclosure. Like the first pic she’s as green as can be.

    Stress during daytime

Just dark colors, showing striping. I use t5HO 24 inch and it’s roughly 8 inches away. Incandescent 60w basking bulb also same length away from basking branch. I use a temp gun. Basking spot is never over 85F, ambient temps are 70-75. Normal house humidity 30%-40%RH during the day with spikes...

    Stress during daytime

Hello, I recently purchased a wyze cam to see what my chameleon does during the day. I already caught her eating bright and early from the feeder run. Currently though, she is displaying colors of stress/discomfort. I made a previous post worried she had her eyes closed during the day, which...

Chameleon Weight, and eyes closed during day today

Hello, I was wondering if my chameleon was fat, or producing infertile eggs. I’m pretty sure she’s still too young. I cannot see physical egg lumps, just a large looking belly. Also a very not good sign, she had her eyes closed when I got home from work. Good thing I have a vet appointment on...

Veiled hasn’t eaten in a few days

My buddy recommended this as well. I will see tomorrow if she has eaten any crickets on the feeder run. If she hasn’t touched supper, I’ll still have the appointment scheduled already. Thanks
